Productivity

Productivity Assignment

The goal is to improve or enhance a lesson or learning activity by aligning it with a technology standard and locating a variety of supporting online resources. You will use collaboration tools with colleagues to get their help.

Use one of the other productivity tools and share a screenshot and reflection on how you might use this to improve productivity.

Examples might include:

    • Take one of your favorite sites (with a very long URL) and convert the URL to a shortened URL using one of the resources provided.
    • Create and share a calendar for your classroom (e.g. with your students, colleagues, administrators).
    • Using Online-Convert.com or another online converter like Zamzar, take any file of your choosing and convert it so it is usable by you or your students. For example, you could convert a Word document to Adobe Acrobat .pdf to preserve the file or .mp3 so they can listen to the text.
    • Use Doodle to find collaboration time or Trello to coordinate workflow.
    • Create a Padlet or Lino to share ideas and brainstorm on a lesson, topic, or idea.
    • Take the very short survey giving feedback for this Thing.
